Santa Rosa de Copán is the westernmost coffee growing region in Honduras. The altitude in the region runs from 1100 to 1600 meters above sea level. Producers process their coffee by the traditional fully washed process. The parchment encased beans are sundried on patios after being washed. Through the Fair Trade initiative, the farmers and their families are guaranteed to receive their fair share.
